When the project began in 2007 there was a porch on the
back side of the building. That porch had been there for
many years, however its exact date of origin is still unknown.
As such, it was decided that it should be kept intact until
a decision is made as to what to do with it. And, it was decided
that this structure could provide some much needed storage
space by closing in its open wall an turning it into a shed.
A couple containers
(AKA sea-cans) were also acquired since the project began to
